OrthoBasics is a single-day orthopaedic skills training course — akin to ATLS, but designed specifically for orthopaedics. It was developed by orthopaedic surgeons to address a well-documented gap in junior doctor training: the day-to-day diagnosis and management of orthopaedic patients.
The course has been running successfully for several years, and has recently partnered with professors from the UCT Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, further strengthening its academic credibility and clinical reach.
Every OrthoBasics delegate receives a framed Certificate of Completion, recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons of England — a credential you can take with you wherever your career goes.
OrthoBasics is built for any clinician involved in the day-to-day care of orthopaedic patients.
One inclusive fee — no hidden extras, no add-ons, no surprises.
